Northeast Region Greeting
Welcome to our Northeast Regional Website for the Church of God of Prophecy. We trust that all the information that you need can be readily accessed and easily located.
The Northeast Region of the Church of God of Prophecy is comprised of the great states of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and the beautiful island of Bermuda! In these states we presently have 58 churches and two missions.
Here in the Northeast, it can truly be said that we fully embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ and believe strongly in the priesthood of the believers. It is our staunch belief that we are one in Christ. Here we have “One Lord, one faith, one baptism” (Ephesian 4:5). We indeed have “One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all and in you all”(Ephesians 5:6).
We firmly believe there are no immigrants or natural aliens in the Church of God, and no one should be treated as such. We resolutely affirm that this is our Father’s world, our Father’s house and our Father’s church. According to Ephesians 2:19, we are “no more strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God.”
We are family – true brothers and sisters in Christ, fully aware of the fact that the middle wall of partition has been torn down between the races, cultures and nations of the world through the precious blood and sacrificial work of Christ on the cross. Saved and sanctified by His precious blood, we are called upon and mandated by Him to live holy and consecrated lives for His glory.
As we deliberately seek to execute the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we also see the compelling need always to remember the last, the least and the lost as our Lord unequivocally instructs us to do in the gospels and according to the whole tenor of the Scriptures. It is with a great sense of urgency we endeavor to revitalize and redirect the focus of our twenty-first century church. May all we do in these last days be for the greater glory of God. How we pray and petition the Master for revival!
