The inspiration given by the Holy Spirit in 1928, at the 23rd Annual Assembly which authorized the formation of the Women’s Missionary Band to assist the Church with its great Mission Program is still alive and well today in the Northeast Region.
The leadership of our Pastors and Women's Ministries Directors have helped to encourage the development and growth of this vital ministry in our local churches and to enhance the Kingdom of God at such a time as this. My vision is to effectively minister to the needs of the women in our Region. I am praying earnestly that each woman would:
Have a Divine encounter with Jesus Christ
Experience His transforming power
Develop an intimate relationship with Him
Grow Spiritually
Live victoriously
As a result we will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill the great commission given by Jesus Christ to spread the gospel of the Kingdom to a world that is held captive by the bondage of sin.
